The Frank H. Luton Society recently held its second annual meeting, at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens.
Affiliated with Vanderbilt’s Department of Psychiatry, the Luton Society offers a forum to communicate new developments in psychiatry and neuroscience and is named in honor of Frank Harper Luton, M.D., a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and the first psychiatrist on the Vanderbilt faculty.
On hand at the meeting were, from left, Stephan Heckers, M.D., chair of Psychiatry, Former Tennessee Gov. Winfield Dunn, U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper, and Richard Treadway, M.D., president of the Luton Society.
