Marilyn Dubree, MSN, R.N., hosted the VUMC Nurses Awards and Recognition Ceremony in Langford Auditorium last week. This annual event celebrates the Medical Center’s more than 5,000 nurses and honors winners and nominees — individuals and teams — in more than 15 different award categories.
Highlights this year included a collective celebration of VUMC earning its Second Magnet Designation and the renaming of the transformational leadership award to the Adrienne Ames Transformational Leadership Award in recognition of Ames’ many years of contributions to patient care services at the Medical Center.
