Swarms of crows have been gathering in the trees on the Vanderbilt campus to roost, resulting in a buildup of potentially hazardous bird droppings. Between now and Feb. 8, Vanderbilt Plant Operations will use noise-making devices such as cannon fire and fireworks to frighten the crows away without causing them harm, as has been done in years past.
