Dozens of young patients and their families were entertained by country music group Rascal Flatts and enthralled by their friends from the Walt Disney Co. on Tuesday.

The special performance and party took place at the First Tennessee Theater at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Rascal Flatts performed some of their most popular songs acoustically, and then brought out Cinderella, Belle and Mickey and Minnie Mouse from the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The group, which is on Disney-owned Lyric Streets Records, also went room to room to visit patients too ill to attend the party.

Rascal Flatts, nominated for CMA Best Vocal Group and Entertainer of the Year, recently announced that proceeds from their upcoming Nashville concert will be donated to Children's Hospital.
