Country music artist Dierks Bentley dropped by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt recently to present a check for $102,756 — the proceeds from “Miles and Music for Kids,” his recent motorcycle ride fund-raising event. On hand were Jim Shmerling, Children’s Hospital CEO, and patient Disiree Davis.
