The winter storm that slammed the Nashville region last week brought more than snow to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments treated nearly 100 sledding accident injuries over the weekend.

Also, teams from Vanderbilt’s Grounds Department, Medical Center Plant Services, Central Parking and Environmental Services worked throughout the weekend to clear walkways and access points around buildings.
