Sports Medicine conference is May 18

Vanderbilt Sports Medicine is sponsoring “Sports Medicine for the School Age Athlete” on Saturday, May 18, at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., followed with opening remarks by Vanderbilt’s Dr. Kurt Spindler and Dr. Andrew Gregory. The conference concludes at 4 p.m.

This continuing medical education course is designed for emergency physicians, pediatricians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and athletic trainers.

Session topics include musculoskeletal, general medicine, the growing skeleton, joint examination workshops, and other related issues.
