Country music star Billy Ray Cyrus recently presented $60,000 to the Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Clinic on behalf of The Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Cyrus also toured the pediatric diabetes clinic and visited with physicians, patients and their families. Over the past few years, the FOE has donated $300,000 to Vanderbilt's pediatric diabetes research and treatment programs.

Afterward, Cyrus headed to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, where he was joined by his superstar daughter, Miley.

The pair sang, gave autographs and posed for photos for more than two hours, brightening the day of hundreds of patients and family members.
