State of the Institution program set for January

Vanderbilt University Medical Center's annual State of the Institution program will be presented during several sessions on Jan. 20 and Jan. 22, 1998.

All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend one of the eight presentations, at which members of the institution's leadership will discuss the performance during the past year of various aspects of the medical center.

Those speaking include Dr. Harry R. Jacobson, Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs; Dr. John E. Chapman, Dean of the School of Medicine; Colleen Conway-Welch, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Nursing; Dr. John S. Sergent, chief medical officer of the Vanderbilt Medical Group; Dr. James K. Geraughty, associate vice chancellor for Health Affairs; and Norman B. Urmy, executive director of Vanderbilt University Hospital.

The State of the Institution presentations will be held in Langford Auditorium on Tuesday, Jan. 20, and again on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 7 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 4:45 p.m. and at 11:45 p.m.
