The second annual Paul Sternberg Sr. M.D., Lectureship in Ophthalmology will feature Hilel Lewis, M.D., director of the Cole Eye Institute, Cleveland Clinic.
The Nov. 2 lecture on “Innovations in the Surgical Treatment of Retinal Disease” will be held in Light Hall, Room 208 from 5-6 p.m.
Paul Sternberg Jr., M.D., director of the Vanderbilt Eye Institute, created the lectureship in honor of his father who died in 2004.
The elder Sternberg, a Chicago native, was an ophthalmologist in private practice for more than 40 years.
