Two town hall meetings will be held later this month to discuss ways to "freshen" Vanderbilt Medical Center's Research Enterprise Strategic Plan with a basic science perspective.
Six committees have been working since last fall on the following elements of the basic science effort: enhancing communication, sharing research information, measuring progress, remaining competitive in research, graduate and post-doctoral education, and enhancing the reputation of Vanderbilt research.
The committees will present draft documents for discussion at 10 a.m., April 22 in 898 PRB, and at 2 p.m., April 30 in 208 Light Hall. The meetings are open to everyone in the Vanderbilt community.
