VUMC employees are affected by two perennial campus programs recurring this month.

The VUMC Fall Safety Fair runs Oct. 2-3 and 6-7, 7 a.m.-6 p.m., in the Learning Center, S-2435 MCN (the Roundwing). All VUMC staff are required to complete annual safety training. Personnel not required to attend this fall’s fair include anyone who attended the Spring 2003 Safety Fair, new employees who completed Hearts and Minds orientation within the past nine months, and employees who completed annual safety training requirements in their unit/department. For more information, or to complete annual safety training on line, see the Learning Center’s Web site www.safety.vanderbilt.edu/training/vandysafelogin.htm.

The annual Vanderbilt Employee Benefits Fair will be held in two locations this year — in the north lobby of the Law School, Oct. 8, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and in 2701-2704 TVC, Oct. 9, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., and Oct. 10, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Employees can talk with representatives of the health, dental and retirement plans offered by Vanderbilt. The fair coincides with the annual benefits open enrollment period, continuing through Oct. 17. For more information see the Human Resources Web site.
