University Pediatrics makes debut at One Hundred Oaks

University Pediatrics, a primary care practice serving the Vanderbilt community, has relocated to Vanderbilt Health at One Hundred Oaks from the Medical Arts Building on the Vanderbilt campus.

The practice consists of four pediatricians: Rachel Mace, M.D., who founded the practice; Alice Rothman, M.D.; Tara Huss, M.D.; and Jill Steigelfest, M.D. Their offices are located in Suite 24500 above TJMaxx on the second floor of One Hundred Oaks.

The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We are very excited about our new space,” Mace said. “We've had excellent support from the clinic and One Hundred Oaks administration as well as the StarPanel team, helping us move toward a paperless system. Our staff has worked hard to make this a very smooth transition."

The office features separate sick- and well-waiting areas that are larger than in the previous office, larger vital signs rooms, physician and nurse work areas and exam rooms.

Adjacent to the sick waiting room is a large model train display that can be operated by patients, with buttons located in the waiting room. The train display was installed by the Nashville Garden Railway Society, which also donated decorative pieces and equipment.
