Vanderbilt’s Joers lauded by newspaper
Nashville Business Journal, a weekly publication, received 280 nominations for the listing, and a committee selected the top 40 after reading each nominee's responses to a questionnaire and evaluating the nominee's professional accomplishments and community involvement.
Joers joined Vanderbilt in 2000 as the director of Transformation Management, focusing on large-scale operational changes.
Joers is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions and other organizations dedicated to quality and safety of adult and children's health care.
She earned a master's degree in Health Services Administration dedicated in Health Services Management and Policy from George Washington University.
