The doors will still open this winter, patients will still move over to the new hospital at the corner of 24th Avenue and Childrens Way; but the Grand Opening Celebration for the new Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Oct. 25 has been cancelled due to construction delays.
The new date for the VCH Community Celebration is Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
