Vanderbilt Medical Group is opening a new Primary Care Center in Spring Hill, Tenn., on Monday, March 20.
The new facility, located at 3098 Campbell Station Pkwy. in Spring Hill, will accept patients of all ages, and will have the capability to perform X-rays and minor acute medical procedures.
Philip Harrelson, M.D., instructor in Clinical Medicine specializing in Family Practice Medicine, will open the new facility.
Most recently, Harrelson worked in Family Medicine in a private practice in his hometown of Sandersville, Ga.
He is board certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Harrelson's wife, Elizabeth Harrelson, M.D, is an incoming Neonatologist at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Michael Carter joins the practice as clinic manager and brings over 22 years of health care experience to the position.
