VU Home Care among nation’s elite
Vanderbilt Home Care has been named to the 2011 HomeCare Elite, an unranked listing of the top 25 percent of U.S. home health agencies based on various publicly available clinical and financial performance data.
The list is compiled by OCS HomeCare, an industry consulting firm, and DecisionHealth, a home care newsletter publisher.
Clinical data used for the list includes quality measures reported through the Medicare.gov Home Health Compare program. Financial data are from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services cost reports.
According to the OCS website, 9,724 home health agencies were considered for the list and 2,434 made the cut.
