Vanderbilt is a sponsor of Nashville's newest Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site, located at 1000 Edgehill Ave. at the Easley Community Center.

There, trained volunteers will prepare and e-file tax returns free of charge for people with a household income of less than $40,000.

The Vanderbilt-Edgehill VITA site, sponsored in part by the Nashville Wealth Building Alliance and Vanderbilt's Office of Community, Neighborhood and Government Relations, is open through April 14 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information or to find out about other VITA sites, call 211.
