The Vanderbilt Center in Molecular Toxicology is sponsoring two forums to discuss Tennessee’s readiness to respond to the challenges of chronic disease and the threat of bioterrorism.

The first forum is a town hall meeting on July 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Downtown Nashville Public Library. The forum for scientists and health professionals will be held on July 2 in 202 Light Hall from 9 a.m. to noon.

Trust for America’s Health, the Tennessee Environmental Council and the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences are co-sponsoring the events.

Both events are open to the public. E-mail gmorley@billhudson.cc or fax, 615-256-0105, to RSVP.
