Four-time cancer survivor Jillian Pasley, 9, and VUSM student Amir Abtahi are all smiles after creating a finger puppet during Noogiefest. The annual Gilda’s Club event allowed children who have been touched by cancer to make clay creations and finger puppets and decorate cookies while their caregivers attended educational workshops about school, family dynamics and communicating with children affected by cancer diagnosis.
