Flu vaccines available now: Protect yourself this fall

With respiratory virus season approaching, health experts at Vanderbilt University Medical Center are urging Middle Tennesseans to protect themselves and their families by getting vaccinated against the flu. For VUMC employees, the Occupational Health Clinic is facilitating multiple influenza vaccination options.

VUMC employees will still be able to get vaccines or boosters at the Occupational Health Clinic at Suite 640 in the Medical Arts Building.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is implementing a new policy which standardizes and expands the role of a medical chaperone, an individual who serves as a witness for both a patient and their clinician during a sensitive medical examination or procedure.

Wright named Chief of Staff for Adult Ambulatory Services for Davidson County

Patty Wright, MD, professor of Medicine and associate division director for Clinical Affairs in the Division of Infectious Diseases, has been named as Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Chief of Staff for Adult Ambulatory Services for Davidson County. She will begin serving in this role on July 1.
