Conference brings together students from multiple schools to explore ways to help them flourish within the field of medicine

Vanderbilt University School of Medicine hosted more than 50 medical students from across 15 schools for the first Kern National Network for Flourishing in Medicine Student Conference.

Predators’ support in battling childhood cancer stays strong

The Nashville Predators, including retired goalie Pekka Rinne, recently visited Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to present hospital leaders with the proceeds raised throughout the year from the team’s 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Twice Daily.

Family’s gift will support pediatric cancer research

Lily Hensiek’s family has made a new $1 million commitment to endow the Lily’s Garden Discovery Researcher Fund in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The locker is filled with basic necessities to help patients and caregivers with their medical care journeys.

Football player’s donation honors his late brother

P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, along with Buffalo Bills football player Dawson Knox, recently presented Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with a gift of “Luke’s Locker” in memory of his brother.
