VUMC’s Osterman awarded Microsoft Investigator Fellowship

Travis Osterman, DO, MS, has been awarded a Microsoft Investigator Fellowship.

 

Travis Osterman, DO, MS, assistant professor of Biomedical Informatics and Medicine and director of cancer clinical informatics at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, has been awarded a Microsoft Investigator Fellowship.

The multinational technology company’s newest fellowship program is designed to empower researchers who plan to make an impact with research and teaching using the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform. Fellows receive $100,000 annually for two years to support their research.

Osterman is one of 10 fellows in the program’s inaugural group.
