Pearson to talk fiction writing Oct. 26

Oct. 21, 2011, 11:00 AM

A. Scott Pearson

A. Scott Pearson, associate professor of surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and author of the medical thrillers Rupture and Public Anatomy, will be the guest speaker at October’s Book Talk Lunch.

This informal group of staff gathers monthly to discuss books, reading mediums, authors, events, blogs and more. Book Talk Lunch’s aim is to talk about reading without being a traditional “book club.”

The October gathering will meet at a special time, from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in Light Hall, Room 214. All are invited to attend.
