Clinical workstations transitioned to Dell as of Oct. 1

As of Oct. 1, support of clinical workstations and a portion of the IT Help Desk have transitioned to Dell. The newly named “Vanderbilt IT Help Desk” is now composed of two groups, the Vanderbilt-staffed Clinical Application Support Team and the Dell-staffed Technical Service Desk.

After calling 343-HELP, users hear a short recording that helps them navigate to the correct help desk. For assistance with clinical applications, callers are directed to press 1 for the Clinical Application Support Team. Those calling for general technical support will be directed to press 2 for the Vanderbilt IT Help Desk.

Dell staff members are continuing to work with Vanderbilt to ensure they are meeting service expectations.
