Vanderbilt Bone & Joint is expanding its footprint in Williamson County with two new locations — Franklin and Brentwood — to offer patients greater convenience.
Vanderbilt Bone & Joint Foot and Ankle Clinic and Spine Clinic will open March 14 at 302 Royal Oaks Blvd. in Franklin.
Vanderbilt Bone & Joint Brentwood is scheduled to open two weeks later, March 28, at 343 Franklin Road in Brentwood.
“We are excited to offer our patients the expertise and outstanding service of Vanderbilt Bone & Joint physicians and staff in these two attractive new clinics. The investment in these facilities represents our continued commitment to bring easier access and additional services to the citizens of Williamson and surrounding counties,” said C. Wright Pinson, MBA, M.D., deputy vice chancellor for Health Affairs and CEO of the Vanderbilt Health System.
The two new locations are in addition to existing Vanderbilt Bone & Joint clinics at 206 Bedford Way in Franklin and 1003 Reserve Blvd. in Spring Hill.
The Spring Hill location opened last year.
With the expansions, patients will have shorter drives, said Lisa Raines, chief business officer for the Vanderbilt Department of Orthopaedics.
“We’ve made it where patients have a choice, an easy choice, and they don’t have to go that far from their homes to get to a location,” Raines said.
At the new Franklin location, Vanderbilt Bone & Joint also acquired a lease on an adjacent building for future needs. Williamson County has been a fast growing market for orthopaedic services — a trend that is expected to continue with its rising population, Raines said.
The expansion allows services to be streamlined.
The new Franklin location, where the foot, ankle, spine, podiatry and physiatry specialists will be based, has 22 examination rooms. The clinic encompasses more than 12,000 square feet of space.
