This year the program honored 15 entities for achieving award criteria, which include measurement and reporting of e-prescription content errors and training for e-prescribing system users regarding how best to reduce errors.
“We are honored to again be recognized with the White Coat of Quality Award. Accurate and high-quality e-prescribing is an integral part of achieving successful outcomes and delivering high-quality care,” said Shane Stenner, M.D., M.S., assistant professor of Biomedical Informatics and Medicine and director of RxStar, the Medical Center’s electronic prescribing application.
