Vanderbilt University Medical Center has a new email address — @vumc.org. Many Medical Center departments received the @vumc.org email address during a pilot prior to the launch of eStar in November. Beginning on March 1, all new employees will be onboarded with the @vumc.org email address.
Giving all new employees the new VUMC email address is part of several changes that VUMC IT is managing in the coming months. These changes include assigning an @vumc.org email address to Medical Center employees, deploying Microsoft Office 2016, and moving all mailbox content to the Medical Center’s new email environment.
More information regarding the distribution of the new email address to existing VUMC employees will be available soon along with additional details about the other phases of this project.
