Vanderbilt University Medical Center has been named to Forbes magazine’s list of “Best Employers for New Graduates.”
VUMC was one of only six Tennessee employers to make the 250-member list, which was released earlier this month and is the first time the magazine has produced such a ranking.
Forbes worked with a research company, Statista, to survey 10,000 Americans with less than 10 years professional experience.
Ranking criteria included working conditions, salary and how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others.
Other academic health care institutions in the ranking include Yale New Haven Health, Emory Healthcare and the Mayo Clinic.
