Hockey Fights Cancer

   Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt patient Maylee Wilshire served as Mayor of Smashville at the recent Nashville Predators Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Here, Wilshire drops the puck with Predators’ captain Roman Josi, left, and Columbus Blue Jackets’ captain Nick Foligno. Hockey Fights Cancer provides an opportunity to bring special guests from Children’s Hospital to Bridgestone Arena and to let the young hockey fans have a one-of-a-kind experience with the Nashville Predators. All money raised during the games benefits the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund at Children’s Hospital to support childhood cancer initiatives.
