“Our commitment is to meet the needs of our patients where they are. This new multi-specialty facility was designed to provide an array of services across several medical specialties and will provide convenient, state-of-the-art care closer to where people of Southwest Davidson County live and work,” said Wright Pinson, MBA, MD, Deputy CEO and Chief Health System Officer for VUMC.

Vanderbilt Health Belle Meade offers the type of care that is expected from VUMC, said John Brock III, MD, Senior Vice President of Pediatric Surgical Services, Monroe Carell Jr. Professor and Surgeon-in-Chief Emeritus.

“Vanderbilt Health is recognized for providing quality care. Our patients expect that from us. But convenience and ease of receiving those services matters just as much,” he said. “We understand that our patients are busy, and we hope offering more accessible surgical and specialty care will make their lives easier.”

Tom Nantais, executive vice president for Adult Ambulatory Operations, said that like the many walk-in clinics already offered by Vanderbilt Health, Vanderbilt Health Belle Meade is a convenient option for those seeking specialty and outpatient care closer to home.

“We are excited to continue providing outstanding care to this area of Davidson County because so many patients seek care closer to home. Residents in this area have enjoyed our convenient care options with Vanderbilt Health Walk-in Clinic; this new location expands our offerings in the area to specialty care and outpatient surgery, and creates more convenient access to the care continuum for our patients.”
