To better serve our patients, the VWCH emergency room lobby will be undergoing renovations. The Emergency Department (ED) Entrance will be temporary closed starting Thursday, September 22 at 0400. Planned completion will be Monday, September 25 at 1700. We will be redirecting patients to the Main Entrance during this time, see flyer attached. There will be no change in the process of accepting patients via ambulance. We will have temporary signage on the campus grounds directing at every turn. The operations team has worked hard to identify any barriers and make this process as safe as possible for patients, visitors, and staff during this temporary 5-day closure.
Starting with the evening shift on Wednesday, September 21, please do not park at the Main Entrance or on the west side of building 206 Baddour Parkway, so we will have plenty of room for patients visiting our hospital emergently. This will continue until the project is complete. We will keep you updated on the progress.
