Christmas Village a major success

Event organizers and Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center staff gathered recently to celebrate the success of this year’s Christmas Village. Created in 1961 to increase the financial contributions to the Bill Wilkerson Hearing and Speech Center, Christmas Village is one of the oldest charitable events in Nashville, supported and run entirely by volunteers from the Nashville Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club. This year, the four-day shopping extravaganza raised $484,750.
