April 2023 Medicine Grand Rounds announced

Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s (VUMC) Department of Medicine will host the upcoming Medicine Grand Rounds on Thursdays at 8 a.m. in April.

April 6: Moore Lectureship: “Game-changing Advances in Therapeutic GI Endoscopy”

April 13: Wilkinson Lectureship

  • Josh Denny, MD, MS, Chief Executive Officer, All of Us Research Program, National Institutes of Health

April 20: Riven Lectureship

  • Ebony Boulware, MD, MPH, Adjunct Professor, Department of Medicine; and Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health, and Population Health Sciences, Duke University School of Medicine

April 27: Harrison Society Riven Lectureship: “Precisely Practicing Medicine from 700 Trillion Points of Data”

  • Atul Butte, MD, PhD, Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics, Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences, and Epidemiology and Biomedical Statistics; Director, Bakara Computational Health Sciences Institute, University of California San Francisco; and Chief Data Scientist, University of California Health System

Medicine Grand Rounds are hosted in person in 208 Light Hall using a hybrid format. Lectures will be live streamed, and available for on-demand viewing here following the presentation.

Lectures are open to the medical community, including those outside Vanderbilt, via Zoom. Free CME credit is also provided with advanced registration.
