Updated MHAV Unread Message Notification
Why: To minimize unnecessary notification in InBasket.
Who: All InBasket Users.
What: Users will have the option to decide whether they want to set a date for critical message notifications rather than having the default 2-day notification.
When: June 28, 2023
Details: Removing the automatic 2-day notification will significantly reduce noise for users and allow them to only receive unread message notifications they find relevant.

What: Updated wording for MHAV messages now reads that patients should expect a response within “2 business days,” replacing the current “48 hours” response time.

What: The maximum character count for messages will be reduced from 1,500 to 1,000.

Why: To lessen the length of time patients can reply to a message thread to assist eVisit workflow and chart review.
Who: All My Health at Vanderbilt Users.
What: The timeframe a patient can reply to a Message Thread will decrease from 60 days to 14 days.
