VUMC to hold panel discussion for faculty and staff on state firearm policies, Nov. 1

VUMC will hold a panel discussion with members of the General Assembly and advocates for additional firearm regulation on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 4:30 p.m.  The discussion will take place in 208 Light Hall and is open to VUMC staff and faculty only.  Seating is limited so those wishing to attend should RSVP to the event by scanning the attached QR code.

The panel on firearm legislation is an excellent opportunity to participate in a meaningful discussion about issues facing our community. The Covenant shooting shook members of our VUMC family and Tennesseans across the state. The Office of Government and Community Affairs organized this event to allow VUMC faculty and staff to hear directly from state lawmakers and advocacy leaders participating in the legislative process.

If you plan to attend, RSVP and submit a question you would like our moderator to ask the panel.
