VUMC’s Sexual Harassment Awareness, Response, and Education (SHARE) Center is hosting an overview of the services and resources available to all nursing staff through the SHARE Center.
Rates of sexual harassment among nursing staff have been increasing especially since the onset of the pandemic. Research detailing the rates of workplace violence outline that healthcare workers are 5x more likely to experience workplace violence that workers in other industries, including sexual harassment, at the hands of patients and their visitors.
Experiencing sexual harassment and other forms of workplace violence is not just ‘part of the job.’ Join the VUMC SHARE Center on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, from 8:30 – 9 a.m. (virtually on Teams) for this brief overview. We will also outline the integral role that the SHARE Center has within the VUMC enterprise and discuss the footprint that this program has in the VUMC enterprise infrastructure.
