Retired Air Force Brigadier General Eden Murrie, above, the Chief Executive Officer of Operation Stand Down Tennessee, was the featured speaker at VUMC’s Veterans Day celebration, held Nov. 9 in Light Hall with virtual attendees as well. Also in conjunction with observance of Veterans Day, a collection of World War II artifacts and photos from Vanderbilt’s 300th General Hospital Unit was on display in the Light Hall lobby. The display was prepared by historians at the Eskind Biomedical Library History of Medicine Collection.
