The Academy for Excellence in Education application process for new members in 2024 is now open!
Applicants will demonstrate their contributions and impact as an educator through activities in the areas of Teaching, Educational Leadership, Education Scholarship, Course/Curricula/Program Design, Assessment, and/or Mentorship.

There is a two-step process:
Applicants will be required to submit the following two items at this link:
AEE Membership Submission 2024
The initial application will consist of the below documents:
- Application/Self-Nomination letter: A letter stating reasons you believe you are an appropriate candidate for the Academy, based on your areas of strength as defined under the Membership Selection Criteria.
- Curriculum Vitae: A CV in which you highlighted (visually using a highlighting tool) your educational accomplishments.
The deadline for accepting the first-step applications for membership in the Academy for Excellence in Education is January 8, 2024-midinight CST.
Following the review of the initial materials, some applicants may be asked to participate in an interview to gather more information to determine if it is appropriate for them to submit the remainder of their credentials. Selected applicants will be invited to step two and asked to submit the rest of their credentials (Packet Details).
New AEE members will be inducted into the Academy during the AEE Annual Chapman Recognition Dinner on April 29, 2024.
