VUMC Pets of the Day: Mina and Arlo

My name is Jennifer Bauer and I am in the Hem/Onc department. My work address is 2220 Pierce Ave, PRB 798 Nashville, TN 27232. My work phone number is 615-875-4547. My dog’s name is Mina. She is a 10 year old German Shepard/lab mix who thinks she is still 3 😊 Her favorite past times include trying to chase squirrels up trees, soaking up the sun, sitting by the living room window to judge people who walk by and begging for treats from anyone that will follow her to her treat closet. She loves everyone and enjoys getting belly rubs.

Today’s Dog of the Day is Mina, submitted by Jennifer Bauer of  Hematology/Oncology. “She is a 10 year old German Shepard/lab mix.  Today’s Cat of the Day is Arlo, submitted by Rikki M. Spears of the Transplant Pharmacy.

Pets of the Day — what you need to know

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Pets of the Day are included in regular editions of the MyVUMC newsletter, which is posted twice a week by VUMC News and Communications.

The pets are selected from the hundreds of entries sent earlier this year to the VUMC Voice Pet Photo Contest.

For those who submitted a photo to that contest, watch MyVUMC for Pets of the Day, and in addition, regular collections of pet photos are posted to the VUMC Voice site. You can see them all here: https://voice.vumc.org/tag/pets/.

If you have a pet you would like to nominate for Pet of the Day, the next Pet Photo Contest submission period is coming up in 2024, and will be announced in MyVUMC.

Mina and Arlo were featured in the Jan. 4, 2024, edition of MyVUMC.
