“Celebrating Beloved Community: Honoring Dr. King’s Communal Legacy” set for Jan. 12

The Office of Diversity & Inclusion (ODI) and the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are inviting VUMC employees to a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, “Celebrating Beloved Community: Honoring Dr. King’s Communal Legacy,” which, organizers say, will be centered around “community, education, information, prizes and fun.” The event is set for Jan. 12 in 208 Light Hall, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a virtual option for those who cannot attend on campus. See the flyer below for more details.

In addition, the ODI and ERGs are starting a Minority Business Owners Directory and are requesting submissions. Many Vanderbilt Health employees have additional jobs outside of Vanderbilt, in some cases as business owners. If you are a minority business owner and would like to include your business in the catalog, see the flyer below, scan the QR code and complete the form. The directory will be made available on an ongoing basis.
