VUMC Pets of the Day: Princess and Pearl

My name is Bonnie Chakravorty. I work in the Epidemiology SRSR at 1211 Medical Center Drive, Nashville TN 37232, 615-322-5000, bonnie.chakravorty@vumc.org

Today’s Cat of the Day is Princess, submitted by Bonnie Chakravorty of Epidemiology. “This is my cat Princess Elvira Lovato Bowles ( Princess for short) She is an exotic short hair. I rescued her when she was 1 year old; she is now 4 years old.”

Today’s Dog of the Day is Pearl, submitted by Pam Boles of Vanderbilt Credentialing Services. “Pearl is a two-year-old great Dane who loves belly rubs and trying to sit in your lap.”

Pets of the Day — what you need to know

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Pets of the Day are included in regular editions of the MyVUMC newsletter, which is posted twice a week by VUMC News and Communications.

The pets are selected from the hundreds of entries sent earlier this year to the VUMC Voice Pet Photo Contest.

For those who submitted a photo to that contest, watch MyVUMC for Pets of the Day, and in addition, regular collections of pet photos are posted to the VUMC Voice site. You can see them all here: https://voice.vumc.org/tag/pets/.

If you have a pet you would like to nominate for Pet of the Day, the next Pet Photo Contest submission period is coming up in 2024, and will be announced in MyVUMC.

Princess and Pearl were featured in the Jan. 11, 2024 edition of MyVUMC.
