VUMC Pets of the Day: Ted and Luna

Today’s Dog of the Day is Ted, submitted by Jonathan Leano of Radiology. “Ted is an adorable French bulldog who loves to play fetch.”

Today’s Cat of the Day is Luna, submitted by LaQuita R. McDade of Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (VICTR). “She loves napping in the closet, ear scratches, and watching tornadic storms from the window. (I’ve tried to discourage her from the latter activity to no avail.) Her favorite snacks include chicken pate with coconut oil, cubed ham, and cottage cheese.”

Pets of the Day — what you need to know

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Pets of the Day are included in regular editions of the MyVUMC newsletter, which is posted twice a week by VUMC News and Communications.

The pets are selected from the hundreds of entries sent earlier this year to the VUMC Voice Pet Photo Contest.

For those who submitted a photo to that contest, watch MyVUMC for Pets of the Day, and in addition, regular collections of pet photos are posted to the VUMC Voice site. You can see them all here: https://voice.vumc.org/tag/pets/.

If you have a pet you would like to nominate for Pet of the Day, the next Pet Photo Contest submission period is coming up later this year, and will be announced in MyVUMC.

Ted and Luna were featured in the March 21, 2014 edition of MyVUMC.
