The Office of News and Communications launched a new website, news.vumc.org, featuring the latest news from across VUMC.

The newly designed site provides easier access to information for members of the VUMC community, and for millions of other visitors to the site each year.

A robust media center provides Medical Center press releases, as well as downloadable photographs and videos.

Through the new site, the VUMC community has access to recent issues of MyVUMC and feature articles in the VUMC Voice, as well as archived articles from the VUMC Reporter dating back to 1996 through the site’s ‘Archive’ tab.

The website’s cross-disciplinary ‘Explore’ navigation drop-down menu offers a categorized approach to news articles from across the Medical Center.

Employees, business leaders and journalists who want to connect to news occurring in their communities can bookmark pages within the site for Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital, Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital and Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.

The “In the News” tab highlights recent appearances by Medical Center experts on TV, online or in newspapers.

A new tool translates content into 15 different languages.
