CollabHub, a service that organizes and manages Microsoft 365 groups, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint sites, now has a new policy that will help cut down on unclaimed workspaces. Starting Oct. 30, workspaces with tasks overdue by 60 days for SharePoint sites, Teams, and Microsoft Groups will be archived and set to a “read only” setting.
What to Expect:
Employees who are owners of these workspaces will have 60 days to update the incomplete governance task before their workspace is archived.
- The CollabHub team will send an email with instructions to employees who have archived items ready for review.
- Employees can go to CollabHub, click on “To-do list” located on the left-hand side, and see a list of tasks that need to be updated.
- If a task is not completed within 60 days, the content will be archived. Employees can complete their governance tasks in CollabHub or submit a request to restore their workspace.
