Enhanced security now in place for My Health at Vanderbilt

My Health at Vanderbilt has added a new security feature called two-step verification for all user accounts. Two-step verification helps protect patient privacy and keep health records secure.

My Health at Vanderbilt users will now receive a text message or email with a six-digit code that must be entered to access their account.

What is two-step verification?

Two-step verification makes My Health at Vanderbilt more secure.

When logging into My Health at Vanderbilt, users will receive a six-digit code by text message or email. Correctly entering the code verifies the user’s identity and allows them to access their health information.

Never share the code with others.

How does two-step verification work?

To access My Health at Vanderbilt, users will enter a verification code during log-in.

  1. During log-in, users can opt to receive a code by email or text message.
  2. Enter the six-digit code into My Health at Vanderbilt. If the code expires, users may request a new code.
  3. After correctly entering the code, users can access their My Health at Vanderbilt account.

What if I don’t receive the code or can’t log into my account?
