VUMC’s Stroke Center is observing May as Stroke Awareness Month with events including a Meatless Monday Challenge to encourage more healthy eating (prizes and an opportunity to contribute to a cookbook are involved), and the observance of World Thrombectomy Day, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the atrium of the Critical Care Tower.
