The Cal Turner Family Foundation Floor was officially recognized on the new 12th floor at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with VUMC and Monroe Carell leaders.

The floor is named in recognition of Cal Turner Jr.’s support through the Cal Turner Family Foundation to bring pediatric inpatient rehabilitation closer to home for children in Tennessee, Kentucky and the surrounding areas. A plaque was dedicated to commemorate the Turner family’s legacy of longstanding generosity and widespread impact on health care.

This enduring relationship includes the building and expansion of Monroe Carell, telemedicine and other VUMC programs. Patient family ambassadors Shelly, Jeff and Judge Colvin joined to share the impact of Cal Turner’s latest support on families who need rehabilitation.
