Vanderbilt University’s construction of Stevenson Center 6 has begun, and construction activity is impacting vehicle and pedestrian traffic along the portion of Garland Ave. ending at the Medical Center North Round Wing.
A section of Garland Ave. is now closed until mid-September. However, two-way vehicle traffic will continue to be available between 24th Avenue South and Medical Center North’s Round Wing shuttle drop off using a temporary road.
During this period of construction, pedestrian traffic will be moved to the right side of Garland Ave.
Traffic directors ae posted along the revised route to assist vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow. Authorized vehicular access behind Langford Auditorium will be rerouted to 23rd Avenue South.
