Garland Avenue to be closed for construction beginning June 22

Ongoing construction by Vanderbilt University will require Garland Avenue between 24^th Avenue South and 25^th Avenue South to close. A detour route to and from Medical Center North’s shuttle drop-off area will be in place from June 22 through the end of November to allow for installation of new utilities.

During this period, vehicular traffic will be rerouted to Highland Avenue to access Stevenson Center Lane and the Medical Center North Round Wing. Traffic control personnel and signs will be in place to assist vehicles and pedestrians.
